Tears as Nollywood Actress, Peju Ogunmola, Loses Her Only Son



The Nigerian movie industry is in mourning as veteran Yoruba actress, Peju Ogunmola, is thrown into unimaginable grief following the death of her only son, Shina, aged 26.

The tragedy struck yesterday while the 56-year-old star was on a movie set.

 Peju Ogunmola who is now left without her only child.


Just months ago, she proudly celebrated Shina’s successful completion of his NYSC programme, never imagining his bright future would be cut short so soon.

Actor Odunlade Adekola broke the devastating news online, and since then, tributes and prayers have flooded in from colleagues, fans, and well-wishers across the world.

The Nollywood community now stands in solidarity with Peju Ogunmola, sending love, prayers, and strength to a mother navigating a grief words can hardly describe. 🕊️
