OSPA Delegates Visit Ondo Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Segun Omoyofunmi

The Ondo State Progressive Activators (OSPA) on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Segun Omoyofunmi Henry IBB, at his office in Akure.
The visit, according to OSPA leadership, was primarily to familiarize with the new Commissioner, express solidarity, and explore possible areas of collaboration on youth and sports initiatives in the state.
Speaking during the visit, OSPA President Comrade Kayode Olamigoke introduced the organization’s objectives and emphasized the group’s readiness to partner with the Ministry on programs that would empower young people, promote sporting activities, and create opportunities for the youth of Ondo State.
The team also presented the Commissioner with a portrait in celebration of his recent birthday, held on August 6, while extending congratulations on his appointment as Commissioner.
In his response, Hon. Segun Omoyofunmi expressed delight at the visit, describing OSPA as a forward-looking youth platform. He assured the delegation of his commitment to bring youth-focused initiatives to the grassroots and to work closely with progressive groups in addressing the needs and aspirations of young people across Ondo State.
The Commissioner pledged that his tenure would prioritize programs that strengthen youth empowerment, sports development, and community engagement.
