ONDO CITY POWER FRONT (OCPF) CALLS FOR URGENT ACTION ON PERSISTENT POWER FAILURE IN ONDO CITY
Ondo City, Ondo State — The Ondo City Power Front (OCPF), a coalition of Concerned Customers of Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), Ondo City, hereby draws the attention of relevant authorities and the general public to the persistent and irregular electricity supply currently affecting residents and businesses across Ondo City. Electricity remains a critical driver of economic growth, education, healthcare delivery, security, and daily household activities. However, the prolonged power outages and unstable supply in Ondo City have continued to inflict severe hardship on citizens, disrupt small and medium-scale businesses, and negatively impact productivity. This situation is further aggravated by the issuance of regular electricity bills that do not reflect the quality or duration of power supplied.
